A popular construct in traditional Chinese architecture, guardian lions or fu dogs, were believed to protect a building from evil and harmful influences.
Made from rich blue porcelain, each sculpture depicts an embellished lion standing on an intricate podium. Representing balance, these sculptures come in a set off two – a male lion holding a ball and a female lion holding a cub. They are bold, beautiful, and will become a statement piece in any room of the house.
Place one either side of a fireplace or doorway for a powerful presence.
