What is Shropshire Design's Black Friday event?
Shropshire Design’s Black Friday event is our biggest sale of the year, offering exceptional savings of up to 70% across our collections of furniture, lighting and home accessories. It’s the perfect opportunity to bring beautiful design into your home for less, with new ranges and brands added regularly in the lead-up to the Black Friday weekend.
Look out for the Price Promise symbol on selected products. These items are protected by our Black Friday Price Promise, which means if we or a competitor lower the price between 5 November and 1 December, we’ll refund the difference. You can shop early, secure your favourites before they sell out, and still benefit from any later reductions.
Which products are covered by the Black Friday Price Promise?
Only selected products are included in our Black Friday Price Promise. These items are clearly marked with the Black Friday Promise round symbol, indicating that they are protected by our guarantee.
If we or a competitor lower the price of one of these eligible products between 5 November and 1 December, we’ll refund the difference – ensuring you always receive the best price available.
Please note that not all brands or products are included in the Price Promise. During the Black Friday event, new ranges and brands are added regularly, and only those displaying the Price Promise symbol qualify for the refund if prices drop.
How do I claim a refund under the Black Friday Price Promise?
Claiming your refund is quick and simple.
If you find the same product at a lower price between 5 November and 1 December, just email us at help@shropshire.design with the following details:
- Your order number
- A link to the product offered at the lower price
- Details of any discount codes or offers that affect the competitor’s price
Once we’ve verified the information, we’ll refund the difference between our price and the competitor’s total price including any extra delivery charges.
The Price Promise applies to approved UK retailers only and to products marked with the Price Promise symbol.
Should I wait until Black Friday weekend before ordering?
There’s no need to wait. To help manage demand and ensure deliveries arrive before the busy Christmas period, our Black Friday event starts in early November.
You’ll find incredible savings across a wide range of collections in our Brand Price Drops section above. These prices are live now and won’t increase.
Products displaying our Black Friday Price Promise symbol offer extra reassurance: if we or a competitor reduce the price between 5 November and 1 December, we’ll refund the difference.
Shopping early means you can secure your favourite pieces before they sell out, enjoy the same price protection, and receive your order well ahead of the festive season.
Can I use discount codes on items already reduced?
Discount codes may only be applied to the brands and collections stated on this page (unless exempted in the item's description). When you apply the code on the checkout page it will apply only to qualifying items.
How much can you beat a competitor's price by?
If you find the same item sold cheaper by another retailer, we will beat their price by at least 10% of the difference between our two prices. For example, if our item is priced at £1,000 and a competitor's price is £800, we will beat the competitor's price of £800 by at least £20 (which is 10% of the difference).

Why doesn't my discount code work?
Please note that only the codes listed on this page are valid. Any other codes you may have found on voucher code websites could be expired or simply clickbait sources over which we have no control. If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
What are the e-gift card terms?
The e-gift card will be added automatically to your order at checkout and will be issued to you by our team once your order is processed and validated. If you use a discount code or take out a finance plan, your order will not be eligible for the gift and therefore an e-gift card will not be issued. Only one e-gift card will be issued per billing address. If orders are cancelled, the e-gift card will be voided or deducted from the refund due.
Please note that gift cards expire after one year.
