A New Chapter Begins:
Our Future Home

Updated 24th January 2025

We’re delighted to unveil an exciting milestone for Shropshire Design. In Summer 2025, we’ll be opening the doors to our new home – a beautifully restored former Barclays Bank building in the heart of Albrighton, Shropshire. This historic landmark, together with its adjoining Victorian barn, is being meticulously brought back to life after 15 years of neglect, reimagined as a breathtaking hub for our team, customers, and products.

This stunning transformation of thousands of square feet of derelict space will soon be home to our storage facilities, a creative design and office studio, and a beautifully curated new store where timeless elegance meets modern innovation.

As an online business dedicated to bringing exquisite and unique design pieces to every corner of the UK and beyond, this new space will give us the opportunity to grow and introduce even more breathtaking pieces to our collections. We’re also working on some truly exciting plans for the shop frontage of our new building, and we’ll share more details as they take shape.

We can’t wait to welcome you and share the craftsmanship and glamour at the heart of our vision. Stay tuned for updates as we get closer to opening this inspiring new space!

A very special building

Aside from its more modern bank frontage, the adjoining barn carries a rich history of agriculture, iron-smithery, and storage, reflecting the proud agricultural heritage of Shropshire. Our vision is to honour this legacy by breathing new life into the space, while preserving these beautiful features and transforming it into the home of a thriving online business based in Shropshire and deeply rooted in the heart of this historic county.
