RV Astley Table Lamps
A well-chosen lamp changes more than the light. RV Astley table lamps bring sculptural shape, expressive materials and a welcoming glow to bedsides, consoles and the spaces beside a favourite chair. Discover striking marble, textured bases and warm metallic details, with designs that range from quietly tailored to boldly decorative. Find a single focal point or a pair that brings balance to your room.
Table lamps with a decorative point of view
RV Astley approaches the table lamp as both a source of light and an object in its own right. Strong geometric forms, curved silhouettes and contrasting finishes give these pieces presence even when unlit. The Otis lamp, for example, combines black marble with an angled black and brass stem and a rectangular shade. A design with a defined silhouette can anchor a simple console arrangement, while a pair of lamps creates a sense of rhythm at either end of a sideboard or beside a bed.
Choose the lamp and shade as a whole
Look at the overall height and the shade’s width, as well as the size of the base. A substantial lamp may suit a wide console, while a narrower footprint leaves more room on a bedside or side table. Shade shape matters too: a rectangular shade can work neatly against a wall, while a round shade introduces a softer outline. Some RV Astley designs are supplied as a base only, giving you scope to choose your own shade; check the individual listing to see exactly what is included.
Create pools of light where you live
Place a lamp where it supports the way you use the room: beside an armchair, at a bedside or on a console that welcomes you home. Consider the shade’s position from a seated viewpoint, and leave enough surface space for everyday essentials. Pair your choice with an RV Astley side table, then build a layered scheme with ceiling lights and chandeliers or wall lights. Check the product specification for the appropriate bulb, maximum wattage and any dimming requirements.
