Linen, framed in rich brown wood
On the four-door sideboard, pale linen panels wrap around the rounded ends and sit within a dark wooden outline. Small ring handles punctuate the woven fronts, adding a jewellery-like detail to the broad, 180cm cabinet. The contrast between the fabric’s fine texture and the visible wood grain gives Willox its softer, decorative take on mid-century furniture.
The detail beneath the glass
The 130cm round dining table places a linen inlay beneath glass, enclosed by a brown wooden rim. The coffee table pair develops the same idea with square tops softened at the corners and cylindrical bases wrapped in beige linen. Warm metal trim outlines the bases. Their different heights and 70cm and 90cm tops create a staggered arrangement, bringing several layers of texture into the centre of a seating area.
Open shelving with a sculptural rhythm
The Willox display cabinet is an open shelving design, with broad wooden shelves supported by pairs of substantial linen-covered columns. Rounded shelf ends repeat the curves found elsewhere in the collection, while the alternating bands of pale fabric and brown wood give the 180cm-tall piece a strong visual rhythm.
