Cambon uses one rich palette across two quite different approaches to shape. The open-framed coffee table allows light and the pattern of a rug to show beneath its dark top. The layered coffee table has a fuller silhouette, with two overlapping blocks creating a low, sculptural centrepiece. Choose the open frame to balance a deep sofa or patterned carpet; choose the layered design when the room needs a more substantial focal point. Matching end tables extend either approach beside a chair.
Cambon’s oval dining tables soften the outline of a generous dining setting, while their intersecting metal supports remain visible between the chairs. Compare the two table lengths against both your seating needs and the walking routes around them. The sideboard combines drawers with an open shelf, keeping everyday items tucked away and favourite objects on view. For height, the Cambon display unit places open shelving above enclosed storage. Group books and ceramics in a few deliberate arrangements, leaving gaps that show the slender framework.
Picture Cambon in a townhouse library with caramel leather, deep blue upholstery and framed drawings, or in a dining room with tobacco-coloured chairs and a softly lit pendant. Its angular metalwork adds definition beside original cornicing and mouldings. Repeat the warm brass tone sparingly in lighting, letting the dark timber connect the furniture. The coordinating TV unit carries that finish into an adjoining sitting area; the ribbed desk brings it into a study. Upholstery with simple outlines gives the crossed bases and layered forms enough space to be appreciated.
