Seating with presence
Liang & Eimil Dining Chairs
Explore Liang & Eimil dining chairs designed to bring comfort, character and beautifully judged proportions to the table. Sculptural silhouettes, curved wraparound backs and tailored upholstered seats are expressed through tactile bouclé, velvet and woven fabrics, balanced by slim timber or metal frames for a poised contemporary finish.
Dining chairs designed around the whole room
A dining chair has to work from every angle. It is repeated around the table, seen from the doorway and lived with through everyday meals, long dinners and relaxed entertaining. Liang & Eimil approaches that challenge with chairs that feel composed rather than conventional: softly curved backs, cocooning arms, crisp cut-outs and occasional metal details give each design a recognisable profile without overwhelming the room.
Texture, tone and considered detail
The palette moves from ivory, sand and stone to olive, terracotta and deeper accent tones. Soft bouclé introduces depth and a relaxed, tactile quality; velvet brings richer colour and a more polished mood; textured weaves create a calm foundation for layered interiors. These fabrics are balanced by warm timber, dark-stained wood, matt-black metal and touches of antique brass, allowing the chairs to sit comfortably with marble, travertine, glass, ceramic or wooden dining tables. Selected designs are also offered in CRIB 5 fabrics for suitable hospitality and commercial schemes—check the individual product specification before ordering.
Choosing your Liang & Eimil dining chairs
Begin with the atmosphere you want to create. A rounded, fully upholstered chair will soften a formal table and encourage a more intimate setting; an open-backed or timber-framed design feels lighter and more architectural. Neutral upholstery is exceptionally versatile, while olive, rust and deeper tones can become part of the room’s colour story. Check whether a design is sold individually or as a pair, then compare seat height, overall width and arm height with your table so the finished arrangement feels generous rather than crowded.
