What a difficult and sad time this is for everyone. From our little family to yours - we wish you and everyone you love health and happiness. Together, we’ll get through this.
It’s been lovely to keep speaking to our wonderful customers this week. Although a little more sombre than in previous years, the long weekend's sunny VE Day celebration created a wonderful moment of unity.
Back in work, we're trying to keep spirits high by dispatching lovely things to our customers. It seems we’re all getting into a ‘new normal’ and our little team have been working so hard to keep customers up-to-date as best as the circumstances have allowed.

We realise that for some, the thought of buying homewares couldn't be further from your minds. For others, more time spent at home naturally leads to ideas about sprucing up your space and injecting some fresh, seasonal positivity – it has, after all, been a gorgeous spring so far!
Because things feel so uncertain right now, we think it’s important to reassure you by setting out our promises to you:
As of Monday 20 April we can commit to delivering all orders within 1-3 weeks after ordering (this is longer than our usual timescales but deliveries are still happening and all our products still available)
- We remain super-easy to reach by email, messenger and phone every working day. While some of our competitors have switched off their telephones (and some don't even have a phone number!) and are advising of long response times - we think our customers deserve better, so we’ve kept our usual high standards of customer care and responsiveness.
We're committed to injecting a little cheer with our beautiful items and keeping the economy moving in the safest way possible.
We’re taking stringent precautions to protect our people and customers. Complete home-based working for our customer team and personal protective equipment and hand cleaning regimes for our drivers are just some of the things we’re doing to play our part in stopping the spread of Covid-19.
MAKING CARE WORKERS SMILE
Thanks to everyone who responded to our latest INSIDER newsletter and sent us the details of some health and care heroes they know could do with a little cheer right now. On w/c 4 May we'll start sending out our little boxes of joy to selected health and care staff whose stories have moved us. We're also delighted to offer money off codes to NHS staff - just drop us an email from your NHS email address (ending @nhs.net) telling us what item(s) you have your eye on, and we'll reply with a special discount code.
